Vertical log structures have many advantages, including: faster construction times, reduced material costs from using smaller diameter logs in shorter lengths, and the versatility to be built at secluded building sites. In addition, a vertical log structure has all of the "green" advantages specific to log homes in general. Students will also acquire associated skills such as, chainsaw use and safety. Other methods of log construction will be touched on based upon student interest. Please visit our Canadiana Vertical Log Homes page for more information on our Vertical Log Homes.
