Log & Timber Works Timber Frame Projects at Crossmount Village, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada

Log & Timber WorksJanuary 2016

The developer and the owner of Crossmount Village in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada, approached our company this past year with some completed architectural plans that included a timber frame entrance on their Events Building. We then worked with their engineer to help them to translate their vision into a buildable timber frame structure.

Crossmount’s project managers were so pleased with their timber frame entrance that they asked us to help them add a hearth and mantel to the beautiful fireplace sitting area inside of the Event Building. We designed and built them a dovetailed hearth and mantel from heavy timber.

All of the timbers for these projects were given a heritage adzed texture finish and all of the work was completed at our shop located a short drive from Delisle, Saskatchewan, Canada.

The Village at Crossmount is an ageing-in-place community, located five kilometers south of Saskatoon on Lorne Avenue (Highway 219).
